Web services provided by GIIG
As GIIG is intended to be a forum of ideas, tendencies, information
readily available to researchers in GI and related areas of research, we
have established a series of
web services which provide a tool for fast
distribution of research results in GI and fast distribution of
relevant information.
We currently offer you the following possibilities (follow the links
to get more info):
- Subscribe to the
GI mailing list .
- Find emails/homepages of people in the field
via the
People - emails and homepages list.
Please send your name, email and homepage-URL
to gips@ii.uib.no for inclusion
in the list!

- Retrieve or upload research papers via the
GIPS:
GI Preprint Server
- Search for all text documents at this site (not ps and pdf,
but abstracts of preprints are searched) by using the search
field at the footer of the page.
These possibilities are independent of each other. You may upload
papers to GIPS without subscribing to the mailing list, and you can
subscribe to the GI mail list without appearing on the People - emails and
homepages list, and so on.
