Special Year in Geometric Integration

GIIG Geometric Integration Interest Group at FoCM
Each year, some twenty scholars in three different disciplines are invited to spend a year in the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters in Oslo. It occupies recently and beautifully converted premises with individually designed and well-equipped offices, studies, and seminar spaces. Members of the centre take lunch together.
One of the projects for the Academic year 2002-2003 is Geometric Integration. The project is organized by Hans Munthe-Kaas, who is a professor in Numerical Analysis at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bergen, and Brynjulf Owren, who is a professor in Numerical Analysis at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at NTNU, Trondheim.
